Hey dan. The Easy brothers vid that was posted wasn't from Ska Spot, I filmed that at pats pub a couple months ago. Im working on the easy brothers video now.
Hi KSG,
I mentioned to a trombone player friend of mine that I am interested in a Ska Marching Band and he sent me a video of the Cal Marching band doing Reel Big Fish's "Sell out" - they were skankin, making checkered patterns on the field, dressed in black and white, way cool. Much bigger than what I had been thinkin about but a least I now know that there is such a thing.
cheers,
dan
Hey! This is Stephanie. You'll be glad to hear that we got our ska TV show up and running!! Check it out! Also, get back in contact with me... you can email me at undertheradartv@aol.com. Thanks. The episode is coming out April 23, so any help marketing would be great.
Hi - I think it is way cool that you even did it. So it is possible? and the songs are recognizable?
I gotta believe that if a marching band really got good at playing ska, they would end up being very popular in the marching band curcuit and likely get lots of cools offers to travel and perform in wild and strange places.
