Since your last post - I did check out the Aquabats, Too much, I will make a great effort to see those guys when they get anywhere near me. Let me know if they hit the northwest. I will follow their schedule now anyway.
I love their costumes. Should be very interesting if my band "the VILLAINS" were to play with the Aquabats. We could musically battle it out like swing bands used to do in the 30 and 40's. Two bands would set up on two stages and alternate songs and the audience would clap the loudest for which ever band won. Friendly but musically serious duels - made for great music and good times for the fans and audience.
The Villains are also known for their wacky stage antics. What a fun night that would be.
I listened to a few of their tunes, great ska band. Started as a joke but fell in love with the genre I guess. I haven't read their whole story, but I will get up to speed with these guys.
Love their humor, We know very well ourselves that if we can get the crowd to dance and laugh, it's all over, we have them for the rest of the night.
