SKA Enthusiast, Musician
About Me:
Hey everyone! My name is Tanya. :) I'm 16, a junior in high school (class of 2010), and I thoroughly enjoy life and being young.
I was introduced to ska music two years ago by my boyfriend, who plays the trumpet for a local ska-band in my area. I was immediately hooked and the rest is history! My favorite ska-bands are Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Buck-O-Nine and the Aquabats.
I am also a graphic designer, and own a small little business that has just started to pick up. I do album artwork, websites and MySpaces for any band that comes my way and asks for a helping hand. I do whatever I can to help out the music scene in my town.
I play the trombone, and am, as a matter of fact, the only trombonist in my entire high school. Big shoes to fill up when it comes to band class, but it's a very rewarding position that I enjoy very much. I also play the bass guitar, but it's more of a hobby, really.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting all you rude-boys and rude-girls out there! Feel free to talk to me, I love to make new friends!
