The very word Suedehead refers to the grown-out crop i.e. a Skinhead haircut. The attire and the attitude that went with it were not very different from those of his immediate predecessor however; it was rather a variation on a theme. The Suedehead of the early Seventies wasn’t so much a separate entity as a continuation of the smart Skinhead who (in many cases anyway) had always worn his hair slightly longer than the ubiquitous number one of ’69.

I started fostering some time ago mostly young boys so that they would not have to go into prison but stay with me as court directed ,but a few years ago we had a re-structureing within social services so now i foster children most of them are around 13 / 17 from all walks of life not only british children but african ,pakistan,and many other nationalities,so whenever i can have some time to myself its a blessing i take in both hands :-) .Well i better go now only took time out from wrapping up christmas presents .so that i could reply to you so i better get back can only do this when everyone is asleep otherwise they will start peeping takecare................Carol xx
