It makes total sense to pursue legal action. I don't even like Sublime - in fact, I downright detest them -, but even I have to cringe at the notion of this reunion. This isn't being done for any artistic purpose on behalf of the surviving band me...

I like hardcore, but like my taste of "punk", it's very selective. Bands such as Black Flag wear on me with repetitious beats and hypermasculine attitude...it also bugs me how the emphasis is primarily on the lyricism, which is almost entirely obs...

Sounds like a sweet line-up. I haven't heard of most of the bands, but I'm willing to look them up: local Canadian ska is always far less disappointing than local American ska. :(
