tunes for the new kid?

hey y'all, Im a relative newcomer to the Ska scene and for the past year have been playing the specials, the beat and skatalite tunes non stop! and now i want much more :]
anyone got any classic tunes that i should listen to that i may have missed out on? a big juicy list of classic bands and songs would be great :]

ermm..we're coming out with an EP soon..a 5 track and probably by the end of the year the compilation would be finished.i can just email 2 u the songs.no prob!so do u have any bands that u feel we should listen to?try listening to tokyo ska paradise orchestra(u'll never look ska the same way again),and memphiskapheles...great bands!

owh god..u see that's the kind of thing that makes us really jealous of u guys...u get all the good stuff!hahaha...i mean, there is no chance whatsoever for us here to get d chance to catch all that good bands in action..of course, our influences are definitely the legends of 2 tone ska from there,specials of course,madness, bad manners, symarip and etc..
hey, u should check out the stuff that we've got down here in asia..there's plenty of good ska bands here as well..and Malaysia, the country where we're from,are coming out with a compilation of ska punk bands.if ur interested i can definitely mail it to u as soon as we finish it.or a trade would be even better =)

owh ok..so we're both new to this site..yeap,definitely the ska scene down here in asia has been slow for quite a while now..and just a few number of bands that can be seen to make it domestically.not internationally tho..n how bout u?where do u live?wuts goin on with ur scene?
