Permalink Reply by Kid Funky Fry on July 29, 2008 at 10:18pm: Toss up between Butch Walker, Less Than Jake, and Motion City Soundtrack - all at the 9:30 club in DC. Oh, and there was this totally awesome band in Virginia Beach that I went to see, but I feel so bad because I can't remember their name! I actually loved them so much more than Less Than Jake, that's how good their show was. The night before the show, the band was letting me stay at their house for the night since I lived a few hours away, and the singer/bassist actually "lacerated" one of the tendons or whatever in his hand (by breaking a window to get into his own house...) and I had to take him to the hospital. Permalink Reply by SBskagod on September 3, 2008 at 1:20pm: Reel Big Fish and a local band called Husbands AKA, that was a kickass show. the lead singer to Husbands was in a motorcycle accident the day before, and both of his arms were in full casts but he still sang. it was INTENSEE!! and Less Than Jake is coming september 29th, that will be a fucking awesome concert.; ▶ Reply to This

And to Kid Funky Fire, was the band that you're talking about from Virginia Beach (I live in VB, I could probably tell you the name if they were local). If not, then it was either Mustard Plug or Suburban Legends.
