What are some good, non-American, ska bands? List em off!

oreskaband
Ska Paradise Orchestra
Ska-P

name more!
and now that i think about it, don't name any Jamaican, or English ska bands. Seeing they have just as much fame as the American ones do.

I think you have the list down pretty good Canada is not really all that different than the US I would argue they have possibly more ska bands and higher quality bands than we do with the Planet Smashers, King Apparatus, General Rudie, Skaboom, Los Furios, The karmakanics, the afterbeat, the kiltlifters I could go on and on and that includes a lot of local Vancouver bands the ska capital of canada is obviously winnipeg the peg city skank compilation is a good example of that. Anyways the best place I have found for picking up international ska cds is Jump Up Records I got Jazzbo and Los Granadians, the Moon Invaders, The Soul Invaders, all from them. Fast Food Orchestra ?, the Liptones (Swedes), Pannonia Ska Jazz Orchestra are all good bands with international flavor as well. You guys got it covered I think.

Hey...i'm from Canada as well and i wanted people to know that most of the bands you mentioned are inactive or dead since a long time. There are tons of good bands here in Canada that are worth listening to and still active.

The Expos, The Johnstones, Subcity Dwellers, Greg Milka Crowe, Staylefish, Keepin 6, Blood and Fire and the list goes on an on. You should definitely check them out!

The bands that I like the most are from Europe tho.
Cheers
Alex

2 new acts I've just stumbled on... Dirty Revolution and Robb Blake. Both available from Do The Dogs website and both worth the money if you like 2-tone/3rd wave stuff
